Today I logged my first hour of instruction in an R22. MMMhhhmmmm that's right! I really, really, really like flying in helicopters. It freaked me out when I had the controls, but George really was a fabulous instructor, and the best part was that he was my hot date! I remember when he was in school and he talked about hovering being difficult...well he was right hovering is HARD! You have both hands and both feet trying to work together with a very light touch to keep it all steady. Holy moly I was all over the place...Sawyer is kind of the same way when he stands, haha. The good news is we'll both get more steady with practice and time :)

I could get used to this form of travel :)

Awesome, Liz! And kudos to George for making the best of this time in Cedar City and keeping himself in the world of flying. (And what better student than you!)
that's awesome! i don't think i would ever ride in a helicopter...the thought freaks me out.
Wow, Liz! You are amazing. I think I would be terrified to try to fly anything besides an RC aircraft. :) And your Baby Sawyer is so cute. I do love those cheeks!
