Procrastination Pay Day

The saying goes "play now, pay later." The 'later' came today. I 'graduated' two years ago...really just walked because I had one measly general ed history class to complete. So I've been doing this d*!# history class through independent study for the last two years. Of course it comes down to the day I'm moving across the country that I have to take my final. Last night I was in such a rotten mood trying to pack and read through flash cards, not accomplishing either. Seriously who cares about the architect that came up with simplicity of form and no ornamentation??! If you do care his name was Le Corbusier. Ugh! So I'm going to take my final at 12:30 p.m. and then we're driving to Florida. And yes it is DUMPING snow right now. Of course. But I'm feeling much more optimistic today and it'll all work out, right? Right!

Your blog has not been updating on my sidebar...boo. Sorry I missed your last few posts. First: Happy Birthday Second: Love the "torch." Third: I did the exact same thing when I graduated...well pretty much. I walked in 2003 with only 6 elective credits left...which I finally earned by 2007! So sad, but at least we did it, right?

Elizabeth. If I could have taken that final for you I would have...not that it would have helped your graduation status...but you know what I mean. I love you. I wish I could have been with you to pack and hold up flash cards. Just think of the warm sunshine that is awaiting your arrival. And then you can laugh at us poor saps here in the snow.

Saddest story ever! I am sorry. I hope the weather clears up for you. Dan and I just got back from going to Nebraska and we got stuck in Cheyenne overnight because of storm. Good luck girl! Hope the final is easy!

Hey Liz. I hope that your final went well, and that your drive across the country goes well too. We will be going to a beach in Florida that is on the panhandle. Unfortunately I don't think it is anywhere near where you will be, but if you happen to be driving past the Pensacola area on April 7-14th, then let me know!
