George and I had our first night away without Sawyer. Crazy to think that it's been 15 months since that has happened! This was one of the only pictures we took the whole time. We were too busy having fun :) We left Sawyer with Aunt Sara. Kaden was SO excited to have his cousin spend the night. According to Sara he did great. She said she'd forgotten how busy a 1-year-old can be...you look away and he's standing on the kitchen table sort of thing :) I did good (didn't even send a text to Sara until the next morning!), but missed the little man immensely! We decided to go to Vegas because it's sunny and warm and you can get a nice room for fairly cheap. We also had to make some purchases in a 'big city'. It was a wonderfully relaxing time. We didn't do anything extraordinary, but our first stop was PF Chang's for The Great Wall of Chocolate (even before dinner!)...and the trip just got better from then on :) Glad we had the opportunity to do this before we have two boys to take care of! It was SO nice to spend time with my man...I love that guy so much!
