Two Newsie Doozies

Are you ready?

We are moving to Canada! British Columbia gorgeousness. George had a few phone interviews in August and then one in person Sep 8th and is scheduled to start work one week from today on Sep 19! He'll be driving some of the largest trucks in the world at Fording River Mine. They look like gigantic tonka trucks.

The truck pictured above is similar to what George will be driving. (I snagged a pic from google images.) Notice how small the full grown man looks in comparison to the tire!

So it's a bit overwhelming moving to another country...lots and lots of paperwork, ugh! We'll have to deal with different money, banks, and credit cards, new phone plans, import our cars, get documents in order for Sawyer and me, see about health coverage, etc. etc. We're very excited about the prospect of getting out of debt quicker tho! And if you're wondering...yes George is still looking for helicopter pilot jobs. We figured he could apply/look for jobs just as easy up there, but we'll be making more mula in the meantime. George is 'moving' up this week and Sawyer and I will join him when he's done with training in about 6 weeks.

And here is our second doozie of a newsie. Baby #2 is gonna be a Canuck! We're expecting on March 26th. That means I'm 12 weeks along today. Oh pregnancy, how I did NOT miss you. I've been sick, not throwing up as much as I did with Sawyer, but still throwing up plenty and nauseous a lot :( It's definitely a lot worse at night, and I go to bed around the same time as Sawyer, haha. I think I've been able to manage it a little better this go round because I'm at home and can eat and lay down when I need to (as long as Sawyer lets me :) And it's a good thing I have sweet baby Sawyer to remind me that it really is worth it. These two will be 17 months apart and the best of friends. I'm sure I'll have my hands full!

Here are some of the pictures I took to spread the news to family and friends. Can you believe the nerve...a bee stung me while shooting these photos of Sawyer. At least it wasn't Sawyer that got stung. I can't remember the last time I'd been stung, but now I'll remember I'm not missing out!
