A couple weeks ago I told George that it was time our door had a wreath and had decided to buy one. His response surprised me. He said "Why don't I just make you one." Perfect!! And viola that same day he made me a wreath. He used an old hubcap ring for the circle and created a beautiful wreath. I was very impressed with how "full" it looked. I added a few personal touches. I think this will be our new family tradition...making our wreath from local resources :) This year's resources: prickly pine boughs, pine and douglas fir cones, and red rocks all from up the canyon. The ribbon is even "recycled" from a 4th of July present.

Ok I couldn't see the picture while I was reading your post. I was totally expecting to see a joke of a wreath...but hello! That's beautiful. I'm VERY impressed. You could sell those! By the way, have you broken out the Santa's bling bling yet? hahaha.
Love it!!! Cant wait to see your stocking:) We have no tree, I cannot be bothered with the needles and the decorating and finding room in this small house so I vetoed the plan. I am such a scrooge.
awww what a good hubby
Merry Christmas!
