The Call
My parent's finally received that big white envelope in the mail...they will be headed to West Virginia!!! They report on November 10th to serve an 18-month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The neat things is that the mission president currently there is one of the missionaries that taught and baptized them some 30+ years ago. They'll serve in a small town called Spencer (pop. 2000). I'm SO excited just thinking of all the experiences that await them. I know they will be such a blessing to the people there. With all the excitement of their call, it's brought back so many memories from when I served in Albania. What an amazing experience that was for me. I love you mom and dad! Thank you for your wonderful example.

That is so great that your parents are going to be serving a mission. I hope that they have a wonderful experience!
Awesome! I am so happy for them!
west 'by golly' virginia!!! this is actually angela's husband, devan...i grew up in west virginia and hope your parents love it there. if i remember right, spencer is a small branch that could really use some leadership...i think their branch president was just called to be the bishop of my dad's ward(also the mission president's ward) in charleston...i might have the wrong city, but either way, it should be a great experience..also, some of the best whitewater in the country is close by, so if you visit out there, let us know and we might be able to get you set up with some friends
Do I need to send you a new invite to view my blog or can you still view it?
That's awesome. It's really pretty there in some parts. My husband Nate is from there and a lot of his family still lives there. Your parents are going to love it!
